We’ll feed 100,000 youths daily, dole out cash –Lagos

The Lagos State Government on Tuesday delivered a brand new scheme to cushion the effect of the lockdown extension inside the state.

Sanwo-Olu at some point of a briefing on the State House in Marina on Tuesday said the government could open food kitchens in all of the councils within the kingdom with a goal to provide one meal per day to 100,000 youths.

Sanwo-Olu added, “There may also be unconditional coins switch to 250,000 vulnerable residents and economically challenged persons who have identification numbers with Lagos State Residents Registration Agency.”

The governor additionally ordered instant launch of all personal and commercial cars impounded from March 1, 2020 for minor site visitors offences through the police, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority and Vehicle Inspection Agency to date.
