Adio Abayomi OLanrewaju (born 22 November 1996), known professionally as DJ RUPHY who hails from Oyo state (Ibadan)Nigeria was born and bred in Ajegunle Lagos State.Dj Ruphy (Sauce for the party) is a Nigerian disc jockey and record producer. Dj Ruphy broke into the mixtape market in Alaba in 2016.
Dj Ruphy developed interest in becoming a Disc Jockey while he was in primary school in Ajegunle after watching several online Dj tutorials and practice,
He became a Disc Jockey and started living his dreams,spinning at school parties,canivals ,nightclubs and house parties.DJ RUPHY played alongside veteran industry disc jockeys; DJ Jimmy Jatt, DJ Humility in a recently held largest deejays marathon mix covered by Guinness Book Of World Record at the Silverbird Galleria, Victoria Island Lagos 2019.Dj Ruphy was officially manage by Billique Ent ,Nigerian-born event organizer, travel consultant, promoter.
Adio Abayomi Olanrewaju (Dj Ruphy) has since gained prominence as a DJ in Nigeria and has released chart topping Mixtapes and he is known for always appearing to spice up the dance floor of many top notch clubs in and outside Lagos.
Ngerians urged to save Fadeyi Oloro’s life
Coalition for A Better Nigeria has urged citizens to save the life of Ojo Arowosafe, popularly known as Fadeyi Oloro.
The Coordinator, Bamiji Awa, made the appeal on behalf of the ailing Nollywood veteran in a statement on Tuesday.
Awa said the actor was in dire need of generous and urgent support to restore his failing health.
The situation, he explained, was made public after years of Oloro’s health crisis “beyond the control of his immediate family.”
The President-General, Grand Council of Yoruba Youths, disclosed that a series of tests had been conducted.
But efforts to ascertain the nature of the ailment had remained futile.
“Arowosafe had sold all his property while moving from one hospital to another in search of a cure”, Awa added.
Why Wande Coal’s exit hurt me – Don Jazzy reveals
Popular music executive and Mavin producer, Don Jazzy has given reason he was hurt after Wande Coal left his record label.
Wande Coal left the record label in 2013.
His exit came as a shock to fans of Mo’hits record label, now Mavin.
Don Jazzy, speaking on The Afrobeat Podcast, said Wande coal’s exit from his record label hurt him because he was like a child he raised and then had to let go as an adult after all the training.
According to him, “Wande Coal is a genius and a music vocalist we found when we went for a show in UNILAG.
“Every separation hurts whether amicable or not.
“Wande exit was like when you train a child and then he has to go when he’s an adult.
“It hurts because I had to start building again, friendship and all of that.
“You’ll know Wande’s exit hurt me because I had to tweet about it.”
Don Jazzy, however, apologised to his fans for making such tweet about Wande Coal’s exit.
Baba Suwe buried in Lagos
Late veteran Nigerian comic actor, Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe, has been laid to rest
Baba Suwe who died on Monday after a long battle with an illness was buried in his home in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Born on August 22, 1958, he was married to comedienne Omoladun Omidina, who died in September 2009.
Baba Suwe dominated the Yoruba movie industry for decades, featured in several movies and bagged many awards.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State had expressed sadness over the demise of Baba Suwe, whom he said, “lived a fulfilled life”.
The Governor consoled Nollywood for losing “one of its outstanding practitioners in the industry”, adding that Baba Suwe was a bundle of talents, who used his God-given gift to advance the course of mankind.
