Finally the most anticipated single of year 2020 – “FEM” by Davido is out! OBO who has been off social media for months is back with a massive record. The new song produced by Dapche address a lot of issues, talks around the African pop star.

While Davido was born in Atlanta, the Afropop artist developed his fusion of West African beats and modern production while growing up in Lagos, Nigeria. His smash hit “Fall” broke the record in 2017 as the longest-charting Nigerian pop song in Billboard history. He is the most sort after artiste in Nigerian with lots of hit records to his name. In 2017 alone he record more than 3 hit songs; ‘IF‘, ‘FALL‘, ‘FIA‘ among others. Two years later after penetrating the American music scene and earning himself a mainstream artiste in the International world music market, David his second studio album ‘A Good Time‘ in 2019, 7 years after his debut album ‘Genesis (Omo Baba Olowo)’ in 2012. The ‘A Good Time’ album recorded 1 Billion streams across all digital platform recently making the first of its kind.

After this huge success Davido blesses his fans who have all been waiting for a record and his return to social media with a new song titled ‘FEM’. This record is a controversial record which David use in addressing the underground issue/perceived beef between himself, his Gang and Burna Boy.

FG reacts to death of Nigerian singer, Sound Sultan

The Federal Government of Nigeria has reacted to the death of Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, in a statement issued in Lagos on Monday, said he is shocked and saddened by the untimely demise of Sound Sultan.

The Minister described Sound Sultan’s death as a great loss not just to his family and the Creative Industry but to Nigeria as a whole.

He expressed his condolences to the family, friends and fans of the departed Artiste.

”Our prayers and thoughts are with his wife, children and indeed his entire family at this time. May God comfort and strengthen them.

He also asked God to grant repose to the soul of the departed,”

Sound Sultan died on Sunday at the age of 44, months after he was diagnosed with throat cancer.

His death was confirmed by a family member, Dr Kayode Fasasi, in a statement on Sunday.

The deceased is survived by his wife, three children and his siblings.

Former Bad Boy Rapper, Black Rob is dead

Former Bad Boy rapper, Robert Ross popularly known as Black Rob is dead.

He died on Saturday at the age of 51.

This is coming just a few days after the death of rap legend, DMX.

The rapper was suffering a variety of ailments including kidney failure before his death.

A viral video recently had him singing to DMX songs on his hospital bed.

Popular New York City promoter, Van Silk confirmed his death in a statement.

The statement reads: “We have lost another member of our Hip Hop family.

“Many may have been unaware that Black Rob was sick over the years until Mark Curry posted the video from the hospital.

“My memory of Black Rob was when he would come by DJ Kay Slay’s studio to do the mix tapes. He was someone who you would just wanna hang around with. May my brother Rest In Heaven.”

The death has left the Hip Hop community in pains considering that DMX died just eight days ago with Black Rob offering his condolences from a hospital bed.

The Harlem rapper had four albums over the course of his career and got featured on a variety of records with artists on Bad Boy, remixes to Total’s single “What About Us,” Faith’s “Love Like Us,” Mase’s “24 Hrs and so many others.
